Dorset police send video message and apology as Gaia Pope’s family in disbelief at coroner’s ‘cover up’

Following the inquest into the very sad death of Gaia Pope, Dorset police have produced a video to help explain the changes they have introduced to improve their investigations into missing people.

Many of these changes were carried out in response to recommendations made by the Independent Office for Police Conduct as part of their investigation.

They make a commitment that they will continue to review this work in the future.

Much improvement was needed however:

Why do we live in a country that is so obsessed with obscuring the truth and failing to take proper responsibility? It merely breeds conflict and mistrust.
