Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Conservation Centre is open for visitors, come along for a walk around the reserve then drop in for a hot/cold drink, and peruse our selection of gifts & wildlife books. Watch birds in the boxes & on the feeders on screen, & purchase nest boxes & bird food. Join Dorset Wildlife Trust Urban Team on a regular weekend work party on DWT Upton Heath, on the last Sunday of every month. Meet at the Urban Wildlife Centre. Volunteers will be helping wardens carry out conservation work. DWT will provide tools & safety equipment, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sensible footwear & bring food & drinks. Come & do your Christmas shopping with us. Kids’ activities, including making wild Christmas decorations, local art & craft stalls, books, toys, binoculars, bird seed, mulled wine, mince pies & a whole lot more. All profits from our shop go back into our conservation work so join us & ‘shop for wildlife’.
