Three males were detained by Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team outside Co-Op on Dale Valley Road junction Oakdale Road shortly after 10am this morning. The 14 and two 12 year olds were stop searched for drugs.

One male had a kitchen knife tucked in his waist band. A small quantity of drugs were located.

Two boys were detained and are assisting Police with enquiries.

Operation Hacienda is currently running in Poole. It targets teenagers carrying weapons and dealing Class A drugs. This particular group was dealt with due to one of them (the 14 year old) being an #OpHacienda priority target nominal.

There are increasing reports of children grooming other children in what Police refer to as CCE – Child Criminal Exploitation. Dorset Police are targeting this behaviour heavily to protect further young people being drawn into criminality.
