Officers investigating repeated reports of criminal damage to a car in Poole are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

At around 9.50pm on Wednesday 9 March 2022 the driver’s side wing mirror of a Nissan Micra parked in Evering Avenue was deliberately damaged. It is reported that a male suspect was seen to cover his face before approaching the vehicle and causing the damage.

Police Constable Rebecca Grabauskas, of Poole police, said: “This is the fifth time the elderly victim has discovered damage to her vehicle since Christmas and she cannot think of a reason why her vehicle is being targeted in this way.

“As part of my enquires I am now in position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect. While I appreciate his face is covered and the image is not overly clear, it is the best I currently have and I am issuing it in the hope that someone might recognise him from the clothing he is wearing.

“I would urge anyone who knows who this man is to please contact Dorset Police.”
