English football supporter becomes a true legend in one phrase

What an absolute legend!

At the World Cup, an English supporter yelled “free Palestine” into the camera during a live Israeli TV coverage.

After England’s 3-0 triumph against Senegal, a reporter questioned the crowd about whether or not football was “coming home.” The group responded enthusiastically, “Of course it is,” while carrying an England flag.

But one guy seized the reporter’s microphone and said, “More importantly, liberate Palestine!”
The party then started to leave as the Israeli reporter displayed obvious discomfort.

It happened after England’s match against Senegal, which guaranteed their position in the quarterfinals.

The Three Lions, who have now scored 12 goals in only four games in Qatar, will play France next on Saturday in an attempt to advance to the World Cup semifinals for the second consecutive season.

Many people who saw the video on social media backed the England supporters.
One person remarked, “English fans yelling “free Palestine” at an Israeli reporter is truly fantastic.”
This English fan who told an Israeli broadcaster, “But more importantly – free Palestine!” should never again have to pay for his own pint, according to columnist Owen Jones.

Another person remarked: “The news reporter’s world fell apart around him in the span of just two seconds, much like Palestinian homes in the occupied areas.”

In the West Bank’s occupied territory, a reporter for Al Jazeera was shot and murdered in November. Israel has referred to the deadly shot as a “terrible error,” and the US has opened an investigation into it. Officials conceded that its soldiers likely murdered her, but they refuted claims that she was intentionally targeted.
