Flood warning in force: Dorset coast at Chiswell
Flooding is expected for: A354 Chiswell, Brandy Row, Pebble Lane, Victoria Square up to the junction with Queens Road, the car parks along the A354 and the yard along Lerret Road.
High tides are expected to cause flooding this evening.

Areas most at risk include A354 Chiswell, Brandy Row, Pebble Lane, Victoria Square up to the junction with Queens Road, the car parks along the A354 and the yard along Lerret Road. Forecast weather conditions may cause higher waves for an extended period after high water. A 0.54m surge and large waves totalling 4.2 metres will increase water levels higher than normal. We are expecting a high total water level (including waves) of 5.5mAODN. For information, the high tide is at 5.00pm with southwesterly Force 7 winds. The wave period is 16.0 seconds.
