So much for competent local government. Reform UK’s dream of showcasing a well-run council in Kent is in tatters after their own South East organiser was caught branding its councillors “all wankers” who do little but “fight with each other.”
The remarkable admission comes from Adam Wordsworth, whose job it is to support the party’s representatives. His comments, overheard by a HOPE not hate reporter at Reform’s conference, will deeply embarrass deputy leader Richard Tice. Just months ago, after winning control of Kent County Council, Tice insisted the party would prove it could “competently run councils.”
Instead, Wordsworth revealed the Kent operation is “the bane of my existence,” alleging the councillors are more interested in internal squabbles than in actually doing their jobs.
