Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a fail-to-stop collision in West Parley.

Between 6.30am and 7am on Tuesday 18 May 2021 a collision occurred on New Road south of the Parley Cross Roads involving a vehicle and a cyclist. It is reported that the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

The cyclist – a man aged in his 20s from Poole – was taken to hospital for treatment. He has sustained a dislocated ankle and broken toes.

Police Constable Sam Kinsella, of East Dorset police, said: “An investigation is underway to identify the vehicle involved in this collision. I would urge anyone who was in the area around the relevant time and may have witnessed what happened to please get in touch.

“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area around the time of the incident and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
