Officers are continuing to search for a missing teenager near Dorchester and are renewing their appeal for information with a plea from the family.
Alice Bendall, who is also known as Alex and 18 years old, was reported missing at around 3pm on Sunday 12 February 2023. Following enquiries it has been established that Alice was last seen at around 7.30pm on Saturday 11 February 2023 in Tesco in Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester.
Alice is described as five feet six inches tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a black jacket with a denim body and black fabric sleeves, dark coloured jeans, Dr. Martens boots with a green lace in one boot and purple lace in the other, a bracelet over the cuff on the right arm and was carrying a small backpack.
Searches as well as enquiries are continuing in the Charminster and Dorchester areas.
Chief Inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “Our extensive efforts to locate Alice are ongoing and we know that the last confirmed sighting was in Tesco, Dorchester on Saturday evening.
“Anyone who was in that area or between Dorchester and Charminster around the relevant time and has dashcam fitted, please check for any footage that might have captured Alice.
“I would also like to renew my appeal to Alice – if you are reading this, please contact us directly. You are not in any trouble, but we are very concerned for your safety and want to make sure you are all right.”
Alice’s mum said: “Al, we love you with all our hearts, miss you and beg you to come back home – whatever might have happened. We just want to know that you are safe and well.
“If anyone out there has been with Al or knows anything at all, please, please contact Dorset Police.”
