The family of missing East Dorset man Edward Johnson are issuing a personal appeal to him to get in contact.

Edward, 30, disappeared from an address on Ringwood Road in Three Legged Cross at 5.35pm on Thursday 18 March 2021 and, despite ongoing searches and investigations by Dorset Police, sadly he has not been found.

He is described as white, five feet 10 inches tall, of average build, clean shaven and with short light brown hair. Edward was last known to be wearing a dark-coloured T-shirt, black jeans, a black gilet and sandy-coloured boots. He was said to be driving a red Citroen C3 Picasso with the registration WJ14 AMO.

Edward’s parents Linda and Terry and brother Will are appealing directly to him to get in touch.

They said: “Ed we know you have been upset recently and we want you to know that we are all here for you, we miss you and we love you. The dog Rupert really misses you too. We are worried sick about you and all we want to know is that you are safe. Please call us and tell us where you are so we can come and find you.”

Detective Superintendent Stewart Dipple, of Dorset Police, said: “It has been two days since Edward went missing and we are very worried about him.

“We do not know where he may have gone and I am appealing to members of the public to please contact us if they have seen Edward or a man matching the description given.

“It is really important that we find the car Edward was believed to be driving, which is a red Citroen C3 Picasso with the registration WJ14 AMO. I would urge anyone who has seen this vehicle abandoned or parked up in usual circumstances to please call Dorset Police immediately.

“Finally, I would ask anyone with information to please come forward.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Edward’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55210043530.
