Wimborne Model Town’s vintage tea event on 26th and 27th October has received a welcome boost with donations of classic crockery from enthusiastic supporters of the charity.

“We have received an amazing response thanks to the attention of local media” said spokesman Greg Hoar.

“A Rose Pink tea set purchased from Butlers on Wimborne High Street in 1957 makes a worthy  addition to our tea rooms as the Model Town has  the 1/10 scale 1950s replica of the shop from which it came”.

Wimborne Model Town is open for afternoon teas and  half term Halloween events until November 3rd.
