This is genuinely shocking. Fiona Bruce who is an ambassador of refuge.org.uk
has just said the following when intervening during a discussion on Question Time about the domestic violence of Stanley Johnson:
This is genuinely the most revolting thing I’ve seen on the bbc for a while. Alibhai Brown raises Stanley Johnson assaulting his wife (he broke her nose) & Fiona Bruce cites his friends saying it was a ‘one off’.

It would be an extraordinary intervention at any time but by someone who sits on a domestic violence charity it is beyond scandalous. She should resign now and/or apologise to every person violated by their family/partners.
Oh yes Ms Bruce those friends of Stanley Johnson:
“He hit me many times, over many years”: how “family friends” Carter-Fuck ensured that repeated wife-beating by Stanley Johnson was excised from a Mail on Sunday splash. Full story only in the new Private Eye, out now.
