Fossil Fuel lackey Conor Burns MP and his chums under pressure following Poole Harbour oil leak

Following yet another potentially devastating leakage in to our seas those who oppose safer, cleaner and healthier alternatives have come under scrutiny yet again. Whether it be the corporate apolcalypse being imposed on nature across the world or in the Tory saturated county of Dorset people are being elected to destroy the planet whilst being paid to by powerful and wealthy lobbyists and their fat controllers.

Sadly we are the victims of people like this

Those who stuff their pockets with notes whilst leaving us and future generations increasingly vulnerable.

Look even closer to home and one can find one of the guest of honours at the 2022 Christmas Eve service at St Peter’s Church, Bournemouth lining his pockets too with the devil’s lucre.

Conor Burns MP was a consultant for Trant Engineering, a firm servicing the local oil industry.

According to his MP declarations, he was still declaring income from Trant until 2019/20, earning £40k per annum.

The same Trant Engineering that have also managed the Wytch Farm site for years.

The one that just polluted Poole Harbour.

And low and behold he was against the Navitus Bay wind farm because apparently it would negatively impact on ‘tourism’. Yeah right.

When Mr Burns became aware of this cynical interpretation of his actions he retorted:

“I have seen a mischievous article related to my position on Navitus.

“Any financial interest any Member of Parliament has is openly registered and made public. The only interest I have to declare on Navitus is the interest of my constituents who are overwhelmingly opposed to it.

“My first pledge on my election address was to continue to lead the opposition to it. On that pledge my vote, vote share and majority increased in May.

“I regard that as my mandate and will not be distracted by an orchestrated campaign by the ideologically obsessed Green Party to cloud the clear issue at hand.”

With a Pied Piper like Mr Burns and his chums leading the chorus the public who opposed wind in favour of oil have just become the rats. Nothing kills tourism quicker in a coastal community than an oil spill and a warning not to swim. It is up there with a hungry Great White Shark.

As the following article reveals, Mr Burns is amongst many of his Conservaive colleagues whose rhetoric and energy appear to be molded by external lucrative sources.

As for Mr Burns’s chums in other Dorset parliamentary constituencies well they too are the devil’s faeces.

Poole MP Robert Syms together with Dorset MPs, Tobias Ellwood, Christopher Chope and Richard Drax all opposed the windfarm and yet have been as a silent as calf in a sausage factory on the oil spill and their paymaster’s complicity more broadly.

Poole Conservatives also opposed Navitus on the grounds of tourism. Will they now take a different course?

Many of these so called democratic representatives appear to speak with forked tongues. They give an impression to the electorate and then pray that said public do not dig beneath the surface.

We have wildlife and their habitat being destroyed by people who call themselves ‘Christians’ when in fact they are psychopaths in suits.

This will become even more the norm if we do not stop them

And:

£3.5m of Tory donations linked to pollution and climate denial, says report

How could the UK’s net zero plan involve new oil and gas? It’s mind-bogglingly stupid

We should ensure that voting them out of power is the least of their concerns. They are evil and dangerous and are contaminating our existence.
