Going after so called ‘wokes’ was going to annoy large swathes of the population who want objective impartial news coverage not a pre set agenda that targets a so called demographic with ad hominem.
Why are those who are moaning about advertisers withdrawing and people making pre judgements surprised when their initial PR was to attack the opinions of many in the population?
They are not the cleverest are they. In fact they are just what many of us expected.
