Groves Nurseries raises funds for Julia’s House

Groves Nurseries in Bridport will be holding a charity auction on Saturday, October 6th in aid of local charity Julia’s House. The charity provides practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.

Local businesses like Palmers Brewery, Moores Biscuits, Footeprints and Abbotsbury Children’s Farm plus many of Groves’ suppliers have kindly supplied items. If you are a local business and would like to help them raise as much as possible, please get in touch with Charlie Groves or his fellow director Becky Stork on 01308 422654 and tell them what you would like to donate.

The Saturday auction will be held late morning on the terrace next to their new restaurant, Ivy House, with help from highly experienced valuer Matthew Denney from leading south-west auction house Lawrences. There’s no admission charge and everyone is invited.
