Gunning For Laughs at Charity Comedy

Boscombe’s Shelley Theatre is preparing for a rip-roaring night of comedy as it welcomes big heroes from TV to its stage on Saturday 4th February. The Mayor of Bournemouth’s Comedy Night, organised in partnership with Coastal Comedy, has arranged for a laugh-a-minute line-up to raise money for the Mayor’s chosen charities; Bournemouth Parks Foundation, Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital Trust, The Stable Family Home Trust, and Defence Medical Welfare Service.

Mike Gunn from Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Harry Hill’s TV Burp is headlining the evening supported by Gareth Richards from Russell Howard’s Good News and James Alderson who won the ‘Best Comedy Act 2015’.

Tickets are just £19, include a canapé reception at the beautiful theatre from 7pm with the curtain rising at 8pm. All money raised on the evening, including proceeds from ticket sales, will be donated to the Mayor’s chosen charities.

Bournemouth’s Mayor, EddieCoope, commented: “I’m really looking forward to this comedy night in which everyone has fun and raises some much needed money for my charities. This event is already selling like hot cakes so book your tickets now to avoid disappointment!”

This charity event is kindly sponsored by Kiteley’s Solicitor’s, Urban Guild, Brandon Hire, IdVerde, andGlobal Group Print and Design.
