Healthwatch Dorset are holding a meeting on Wednesday 31st January, 6pm at the Dorford Centre in Dorchester. Local people are welcome to attend to find out more about Healthwatch Dorset from 6pm and to hear updates from Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group & the South Western Ambulance Service at 7pm.

Joyce Guest, Healthwatch Dorset chairperson (pictured) explains “we’re keen to promote Healthwatch and share information about our current projects. If you’d like to find out more about our work and meet Healthwatch Dorset board members, please join us in Dorchester on 31st January”

Healthwatch Dorset works with local people to discover what’s really going on in health and care services across the county. They offer free independent information to help you find your way through the system and use your feedback to influence the way local services are provided.

Over the last year Healthwatch Dorset has made improvements to the local NHS complaints system, worked with children & young people to gather their feedback, and carried out a volunteer led mystery shopper project to find out more about local access to GP services.

To find out more contact Healthwatch Dorset on 0300 111 0102 (calls cost the same as 01 or 02 numbers).
