The family of a boy who sadly died in a fatal road traffic collision in Poole have paid tribute to their loved one.
Dorset Police received a report at 5pm on Friday 28 November 2025 of a two-vehicle collision involving a DAF truck and a silver motorcycle at the Holes Bay North Roundabout.
Emergency services attended and, despite their best efforts, the rider of the motorcycle, named by his family as 17-year-old Zebedee Watson from North Dorset, sadly died at the scene.
The family of Zebedee has issued the following statement: “Zebedee Watson was a 17-year-old boy, he was full of life and had his whole future ahead of him.
“He had passed his driving test (first time) on the 19th of November and was so looking forward to driving his own car, his upcoming 18th birthday, and a promising future.
“Zeb was thriving at college on a plumbing course and was working hard to secure an apprenticeship in the field he loved. Previous to this, Zeb attended King Arthur’s Secondary School in Wincanton.
“Zeb leaves behind a heartbroken younger sister, aged 15, and a treasured little brother, aged 3, who adored him. He cared for them deeply and was proudly the “man of the house”.
“He will always be a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and a wonderful friend to so many. His warmth, kindness, and spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.”
