Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Poole are issuing an image of one of the drivers involved in a bid to identify him.

At approximately 10.40pm on Sunday 28 July 2019 a collision occurred on Ringwood Road between the junction of Broom Road and Herbert Avenue roundabout involving a Mitsubishi Shogun and an Audi A1.

The driver of the Audi, a woman aged in her 20s, and her passenger sustained minor injuries that required hospital treatment.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was uninjured.

Police Constable Matthew Batter, of Poole police, said: “Following enquiries I believe that the driver of the Mitsubishi gave false details at the scene before driving off.

“The vehicle was located in the Bournemouth area and we have so far been unable to identify the registered owner.

“I am now in a position to release an image of the man driving the Mitsubishi on the night of the collision. While I appreciate the quality is not great, it is the best we have and I am appealing to anyone who may recognise him to get in touch.”
