We’ve been out and about letting Dorset residents know about how they can help us in the fight against fly-tipping.

DWP Enforcement and Education Officers have been ‘fly-tipping’ in busy high streets  as part of the ‘Tip-Off’ roadshow. They’ve been talking to people about how you can report fly-tips and what you can do to make sure you’re not handing your waste to someone who might illegally dump it.

They’re also encouraging people to use their local household recycling centre (HRC), while dispelling some of the myths around HRC charges.

Our Enforcement Team also recently helped prosecute a fly-tipper in Sherborne and are currently working closely with Dorset Police to clamp down on illegal waste carriers. You can find out more about the ‘Tip-Off‘ campaign and how you can help us at the official webpage.
