HIX Academy reopens its doors this Friday, plus treats in store for guests including Jazz nights plus more

The HIX Academy are offering diners a special FEAST menu, available from 1st October –

13th November of £15 for 2 courses £20 for 3 courses with the menu including:

Academy smoked salmon ‘Hix cure’ with Corrigan’s soda bread

Jellied Ham hock with piccalilli

White Onion and Burrow Hill cider soup

Poached fillet of Loch Duart salmon with hollandaise sauce

Escalope of Snowdon view farm chicken with a fried Burford brown egg, anchovy and capers

Butternut squash Risotto

Mark Hix, Restauranteur comments: “I’m always advocating giving something back to the industry, for years I’ve worked with various educational establishments enlightening students with what to expect in the real world when they leave college. For me, the link between colleges and the industry is crucial. Joining forces with Weymouth College has given us the perfect opportunity to combine education with a real restaurant and bar environment. Being involved with a local dining event such as FEAST Weymouth is the perfect opportunity for the students to meet more of the local chefs and restaurateurs”.
