Hunt on following stabbing of boy in Bournemouth

Detectives investigating an assault in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at around 4pm on Saturday 21 August 2021 that a teenage boy had been stabbed during an altercation in Slades Farm.

Officers attended with the ambulance service and located the 16-year-old boy on Wallisdown Road near to the University Roundabout. He had sustained facial injuries, which are not life-threatening, and was taken to hospital for treatment. 

Cordons were put in place to allow for thorough examinations of the area to be carried out. 

Detective Constable Michael White, of Bournemouth CID, said: “A full investigation is underway into this incident.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area of Slades Farm and witnessed what happened to please contact Dorset Police.

“Finally, I would urge anyone with information about who was responsible to please come forward.”
