I am trying to locate the family or descendants of Canon Edward Brewer Brooks (born 1913), one time Vicar/Rector of St Thomas Church, Salisbury (1970-1973) and who died in the December quarter of 1986, in the Weymouth registration district, aged 73.
My interest in Canon Brooks lies in the fact that he apparently uncovered information concerning an alchemist who once lived in St Thomas Church, Salisbury, and whom I am researching, and hope that his family may be able to furnish me with more information. However, even a statement to the effect that ‘we have no information’ would be useful.
