Haniyeh is a Palestinian political figure associated with Hamas (Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Islamic Resistance Movement), a Palestinian Islamic resistance and political organisation. Ismail Haniyeh has been involved in Palestinian politics for many years, and he held several key positions within Hamas.
Haniyeh served as the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority from 2006 to 2014, after Hamas won the legislative elections in the Palestinian territories in 2006. His tenure as Prime Minister was marked by political tensions and conflicts with the rival Palestinian faction Fatah (meaning “opening”, “conquering”, or “victory”), which controls the West Bank.
If people are oppressed, they will always rise up at some point. If one does not want to be risen up against, do not oppress others. It really is that simple.
