Witness appeal following reported indecent exposure on Weymouth beach

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after a man allegedly indecently exposed himself in Weymouth.

The incident occurred at around 5.15pm on Thursday 4 March 2021. It is reported that a man was on the beach opposite The Nook bar indecently exposing himself and performing a lewd act.

Officers attended and a 32-year-old man from Weymouth was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police Constable Will Harris, of Weymouth police, said: “Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened to please get in touch.”
