The ISO 14001:2015 Revision was published on the 17th September and marks the start of a three-year implementation period for the organisations involved. With numerous changes and new requirements, this may appear a daunting task for your business. The Sustainable Business Guide, based in Dorset, has therefore published the date for a half-day workshop designed to help you get to grips with the key changes, outline the benefits of early transition, introduce the process of gap analysis, map changes between the two standards, look at the importance of context and leadership in more detail, provide the tools to get started and signpost you to further resources for support. The workshop will take place in December at the Basepoint Centre, near Bournemouth Airport from 9.30am to 12.30. Who should attend?

The workshop is aimed at businesses and organisations of any size that are planning to transition to the new standard, or begin the ISO 14001 journey with the new standard in mind. The workshop will be presented by Amanda Williams – Environmental Manager, Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment, lead EMS Auditor and CPD Registered Presenter.

About Sustainable Business Guide The Sustainable Business Guide launched in 2015 as a means of educating Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire businesses on best practice Environmental Management through a range of courses and workshops. With the majority of this type of offering only available to organisations in London and other cities across the UK, requiring the cost of travel, travel time and the added impact on their environmental footprint – a collaboration between Amanda Williams of ACEW Consulting and Lynda Daniels of Green Business Dorset was set up to draw on the expertise and experts in Dorset and beyond. And bring the training to Dorset to create a better Dorset.
