Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Kingcombe Meadows reserve is one of the locations for a new programme Miniature Britain, to be broadcast next Wednesday, 12.12.12 at 8pm on BBC1.

The filming took place back in the balmy days of May this year on the flagship west Dorset reserve that has previously featured on Springwatch. The reserve was chosen because of its unspoilt meadows, rich in plant species and buzzing with insects, thanks to its being managed traditionally by generations of farmers and now by Dorset Wildlife Trust.
