Join Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and BSO Leverhulme Young Conductor in Association Victor Aviat for a spectacular evening of the most popular classical music as the annual Last Night of the BSO Proms returns to Weymouth Pavilion on Thursday 27 July.

There will be music to tap along to, music to move you and of course the traditional selection of Proms favourites. The first half of the concert will feature some of the best classical music ever written, with something for everyone to enjoy including Strauss’ Die Fledermaus Overture, Grieg’s Wedding Day at Troldhaugen, and music from the movies with John Williams’ iconic theme to E.T.

This is followed by a celebration of everything British with popular Proms classics including Elgar’s Pomp & Circumstance March No.1, Sir Hubert Parry’s Jerusalem and of course Sir Henry Wood’s Fantasia on British Sea Songs. Bring your flags and join us for a great summer night out with fantastic live music performed by the full forces of the BSO!
