Following this morning’s devastating fire that ripped through the Gorge Cafe, updated footage reveals the true level of the impact. Multiple properties alongside the cafe are in severe disrepair, and the work ahead is extensive.
This incident follows the desperately sad news that the owner of the Gorge Cafe had recently been bereaved by the loss of her husband.
Other videos and images shared by locals of the incident, including from Mina’s deli, which has two premises in Dorchester. One of them is a few buildings up from the Gorge. Here is a video that the owner took at the height of the fire in the early hours of this morning.
