Launching Christmas at Sea Life!

An ‘elf and safety’ drill was carried out at the Weymouth Sea Life Tower yesterday by Darren Stanley and Vicky Hill from Wessex FM, in preparation for the arrival of Father Christmas and his sleigh, who will be continuing his journey onto Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park for Saturday 7th December.

Performing Arts students from Weymouth College officially launched Christmas at the Tower by performing a festive choreographed dance before the opening of the Tower in the morning to Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas” mash-up.

On Monday 2nd December, the Sea Life Adventure Park held ‘Mince Pie Monday’ which allowed visitors free entry in exchange for a mince pie for Father Christmas, and a carrot for his reindeer. The Park was extremely busy and Father Christmas can’t wait to tuck-in to all the mince pies waiting for him.

He’ll be at the Park on Saturday, until Christmas Eve, for day and evening visits situated in his enchanted Christmas Cabin, through the festive fir tree pathway in the centre of the Park, overlooking the lake; which will be lit up with fairy lights.

Every child will be able to spend 5 minutes with Father Christmas, friends and family to discuss wish lists and for photos, before departing the Christmas Cabin with a Sea Life gift. To guarantee a chance to meet Father Christmas, visit www.sealifeweymouth.com to book.

Then, why not treat yourself to some of the tasty festive fayre available in our restaurant. From sumptuous hot chocolate with extra marshmallows to warm mince pies, mulled wine and Christmas gingerbread!

Creatures at the Park will also be joining in the festivities, with Father Christmas bringing a special something for each of them.
