Let’s Catch These ‘Men’ Before They Do This Again

At around 6am on Sunday 28 September 2025, a woman aged in her 20s was walking in Holdenhurst Road when she had an interaction with a group of people who verbally abused her.

One of the men in the group stole the victim’s glasses and stamped on them.

During the incident, liquid was poured over the victim’s head and at one stage the victim fell to the floor.

She sustained grazes and bruising, as well as an injury to her leg that required medical treatment.

“We are treating this incident as a hate crime due to the nature of some of the comments made to the victim and we are providing support to her throughout our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250144099. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
