Dorset Eye is supporting and taking part in Live Below the Poverty Line a fundraising campaign which challenges people to live below the poverty line for 5 days.

Could you live off just £1 a day for food for 5 days?

The challenge is tough but gives participants a unique glimpse into the lives of 1.2 billion people who live below the poverty line every day, and enables you to raise much needed funds for Health Poverty Action’s work overseas.

Could the people of Dorset and beyond manage their lifestyles for just 5 days and budget for a pound a day? If you and your family and friends believe you can then click on the link to find out more.

Why not get your school, college or work place involved and see who can last the longest?

Let us know if you are getting involved and we will publicise your name, school, workplace… on social media. Send us your photos and we will publish them.

When: 28 April – 2 May 2014

It is going to be challenging BUT rewarding!
