KEY DIGITAL Agency (previously known as Key Multimedia) is a highly specialised Internet company based in Poundbury, Dorset with a wealth of experience of digital marketing.

The company has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months and now employs 10 people doubling its workforce. The agency offers a wide range of digital marketing solutions, web design and development, SEO and content marketing, social media and online marketing all of which are aimed at increasing the performance of their client’s businesses online.

Key Digital (formerly known as Key Multi Media) opened in 2007 by David Lakins who worked independently, but closely with many local businesses. Since then David has steadily grown the Poundbury based company and said “It has been a really interesting journey, over the past 10 years the digital platform has grown enormously and we are finding that businesses have a real need for digital marketing in their businesses. We work with many diverse businesses but have worked hard to develop a niche with the holiday park industry and we have travelled all over the country helping in this sector. We moved into our current agency office at Stowey House, Poundbury in 2017 and we have already filled the office space.” Dave went on to say “By doubling the size of the agency we are also being considered for larger digital projects. We are using local talent who have great expertise in the digital field which means there are lots of exciting new projects for website development, voice recognition and apps. More and more businesses are asking us to help build a digital strategy specifically for them”.

Key Digital now employs 10 people. The most recent person to join the Digital Marketing team is Paul Castle who joined in March 2019. Paul previously worked for a technology company in Dorchester, but has been keeping a very close eye on the expansion and development of Key Digital. Paul Castle, said “I’m thrilled to join Key Digital at such an exciting time for the company. Having observed the agency grow in sophistication as leaders in the digital field for a number of years, naturally, I jumped at the opportunity to be part of it. Through Key Digital, I’m offered the best of both worlds. Not only can I further my career in digital marketing as part of a creative hub of experts, but I also get to work with and support a varied range of awesome local & national clients, and I don’t have to relocate to do it, the agency life is here for me in Poundbury”.

Key Digital maintains very close relationships with their clients and focuses on keeping them well informed in future developments of both digital marketing and Key Digital’s projects and initiatives. Every quarter Key Digital open their doors to an “UNLOCK” event where guest speakers are invited to come along to the offices in Poundbury and talk to local businesses, sharing problems, discussing ideas and generally sharing best business practice. David Lakins went on to say “Our clients are the backbone of our business, their ideas, enthusiasm and passion for their businesses provide great material for the team at Key Digital to work with. Recently we have had the pleasure of working with many new websites and accounts such as
