Local employers support the College’s open event

The Bournemouth & Poole College is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week by hosting a free informative open event on Tuesday, March 6 from 4pm at both its Poole and Lansdowne sites.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to meet with staff and leading employers from across the county to discuss their career options at the College, which ranges from apprenticeships to degree level courses.

Employers from a range of sectors will be on hand during the event to discuss the apprenticeships they have on offer. Sunseeker International, The RNLI, Superior,  Alina Care and Createful are some of the local businesses which will be there on the day. 

Antony Carr, head of apprenticeshipsat The Bournemouth & Poole College, said: ‘‘We are looking forward to welcoming those who are wishing to turn their career dream into a reality. With almost 30 local businesses set to attend the open event, attendees will be given in-depth information about both the course options and support available from our College, including CVs and interview practice to get them started on their chosen career path.

“Our apprenticeships range from hair and engineering to digital marketing and care and we are pleased to have staff representatives from our diverse course offering. Tours of our outstanding facilities will also be on offer giving attendees the chance to see for themselves that students at the College have access to the latest up-to-date equipment and technology.”
