Long Standing Wimborne Business Has Shop Front Smashed

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following criminal damage in Wimborne.

Sometime overnight between Saturday 28 December and Sunday 29 December 2024, the window of Samways & Son on Leigh Road was smashed.

No entry was gained to the property, and nothing was stolen.

Police Constable Kayleigh Barguss, of East Dorset police, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity during the relevant time frame to please get in touch.

“I would also appeal to motorists who were travelling in the area and may have captured any dashcam footage that may assist my enquiries to please come forward.”
