Last night officers from Team Purple response were called to a group of people in Weymouth Town Centre where the sound of a taser was heard.
Officers searched the individuals where a small taser was seized and a male arrested for possession of it. The taser measures a mere 9cm and is disguised as a torch. These are illegal to possess and are listed as such under Section 5(1A)(A) of the Firearms Act 1968.
