Man And Woman Sought Following Robbery Of Two Boys In Weymouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after a teenage boy had his bike stolen during a robbery in Weymouth.

At around 3.05pm on Tuesday 19 August 2025, two teenage boys were in the area of Glennie Way when they were approached by a man and woman.

It is reported that the man pushed one of the boys off a mountain bike, before riding away on it. The boy did not sustain any injuries.

A short time later, the boys located the bike damaged in a nearby wooded area.

The offender is described as white, aged in his 30s and of slim build with black hair and tattoos. The woman he was with is described as white, aged around 28 years old, five feet five inches tall with pink or blonde hair and was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a pink T-shirt.

Police Constable Aaron Strange, of Weymouth police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this incident, including house-to-house visits and checking for any CCTV in the area.

“I am now appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard what happened, or has information about who was responsible, to please get in touch.”
