A 31-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police Constable Harry Amos, of Dorset Police, said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time and I would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.

“Also, I am appealing directly to the other man reportedly involved in the incident to please get in touch so we can take your account of what happened.”
