A man is due to appear in court in connection with a reported exposure incident in Weymouth.

It was reported that around 5.30pm on Wednesday 28 February 2024 a man aged in his 30s and a child were in Leamingston Street when a man walked towards them and exposed himself.

An altercation reportedly ensued between the victim and the man before they left the area.

Following enquiries by officers, a 36-year-old Weymouth man attended for a voluntary police interview and he has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Friday 26 April 2024 for two offences of outraging public decency.
