Man Hospitalised Following Fail To Stop Collision In Dorchester

Officers investigating a fail-to-stop collision in Dorchester are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Dorset Police receive a report at around 1pm on Thursday 10 July 2025 of a collision involving a grey Toyota and a cyclist at the West Stafford roundabout.

The cyclist – a man aged in his 60s – was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be serious.

The driver of the Toyota failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to identify them.

Police Constable Harry Chaplin, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw what happened or has relevant dashcam footage to please get in touch.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the driver of the vehicle to please do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
