Man put in headlock and then robbed in Poole

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a robbery in Poole.

At around 6pm on Wednesday 13 October 2021 the victim, a man aged in his 20s, was near to the skate park in Baiter Park when he was approached by three men. The victim was put in a head lock while they went through his pockets and stole an iPhone and his passport.

The passport was later found nearby but the phone has not been recovered.

Detective Constable Phill Riggs, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are carrying out further enquiries into this robbery and I understand there were a number of people in the area when it happened.

“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward. I would also like to hear from anyone with any further information that might assist our investigation.”
