Officers are issuing an image of a man they would like to speak to as they investigate an assault at a pub in Christchurch.

At around 10.30pm on Friday 27 September 2024 an altercation occurred around the entrance to the Stourvale Inn in Christchurch Road.

During the incident, a man aged in his 60s was reportedly punched to the face and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his face and shoulder.

Police Constable Rio Baker, of Bournemouth East and Christchurch police, said: “We are investigating this incident and have obtained an image of a man who we would like to speak to as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
