Officers investigating an assault in Poole are issuing an image of a man they would like to identify.

At around 9.35pm on Wednesday 15 June 2022 the victim – a man aged in his 20s from Bournemouth – was riding his bike along the pavement on Ashley Road near to Nuudle Bar when he was pushed against the wall by an unknown man.

It is reported that the man threw the victim’s bike into the road, causing damage to it.

The victim sustained an injury to his shoulder that did not require medical treatment.

Police Community Support Investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said: “I have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident so far and am now in a position to issue an image of a man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
