Man Sought Following Assault On A Bus In Bournemouth

Officers are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following an assault on a bus in Bournemouth.

At around 4.50pm on Thursday 6 February 2025 a man boarded an M1 bus at Bournemouth Travel Interchange in Holdenhurst Road and asked a male passenger to move his feet off a chair so that he could sit down.

The offender swore at the victim, before kicking him in the chest.

Police Community Support Investigator Kayleigh Hole, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries, I am now issuing an image of a man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward as we want to take his account of what happened.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250020389. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
