Officers investigating an assault in Bridport are issuing an image of a man they would like to identify.
It is reported that at around 6pm on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, a man entered a shop in South Street and was aggressive towards a female member of staff.
It was further reported he made threats towards the woman before pushing her.
No injuries were sustained.
Police Constable Jaime Fullick, of Dorset Police, said: “No one deserves to be assaulted in their place of work and we have been carrying out enquiries into this incident to identify the person responsible.
“We are now in a position to issue an image of a man we would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
