Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following an attempted burglary at a bike shop in Blandford.

Between 10.45pm and 11pm on Tuesday 23 July 2024, it is reported that a man attempted to gain entry to Offcamber Cycles in Salisbury Street.

Damage was caused to the window, but entry was not gained to the shop.

The man is described as wearing black shorts, trainers and a dark-coloured lightweight jacket.

Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of Blandford Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I understand there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have witnessed what happened.

“I would like to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident to help my enquiries.”
