Man sought following robbery in Poole

Officers investigating a robbery in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 9.30pm on the evening of Monday 29 January 2024, it is reported that a male suspect entered Premier Alder Road store and told a member of staff to hand over vapes. It is reported that the offender made threats while in possession of a kitchen knife.

Approximately 25 disposable vape pods were stolen from within the shop during the incident.

The suspect is described as white, aged approximately 17 to 22 years old with light-coloured eyes, long fair hair, facial hair and of stocky build. He was wearing dark-coloured trousers and a cream or white zip-up hooded jumper.

Police Constable Melissa Greenman, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and am keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area between 9.15pm and 10.00pm on Monday 29 January 2024.

“Also, I am keen to speak to anyone with information about the identity of the suspect.

“If you may have captured anything of relevance during the timeframe on either home CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
