Man sought following serious assault in Poole

Officers investigating an assault in Poole are issuing an image of a man they would like to identify.

It was reported that the victim, a 19-year-old man from Bournemouth, was assaulted while at the Harbourside Festival in Baiter Park at around 10.30pm on Saturday 29 July 2023.

He sustained a broken jaw and nerve damage as a result of the assault.

Police Constable Matthew Brown, of Poole police, said: “Our investigation into this assault is ongoing and we have obtained an image of a man who we would like to speak to as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with further information regarding this incident.”
