Man sought following theft of iPad in Wimborne

Officers investigating a burglary at an opticians in Wimborne are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.

At approximately 7.50pm on Monday 22 January 2024 a man entered the rear entrance of Specsavers in Crown Mead.

He searched through an unattended bag and stole an iPad.

Police Community Support Investigator Lindy Wilson, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of our ongoing enquiries, I am now issuing an image of a man I would like to identify.

“I am appealing to anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
