A man has been identified in connection with a sexual assault in Bournemouth.
At around 5.30pm on Saturday 14 September 2024 the victim – a woman in her 30s – was travelling on the number 6a Morebus towards Bournemouth Town Centre when a man, who was not known to her, sat next to her and touched her knee and thigh inappropriately.
Following a CCTV appeal, a man has been identified and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made
Officers are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following a sexual assault in Bournemouth.
At around 5.30pm on Saturday 14 September 2024 the victim – a woman aged in her 30s – was travelling on the number 6a Morebus towards Bournemouth Town Centre when a man, who was not known to her, sat next to her and touched her knee and thigh inappropriately.
Police Constable Ryan Hebditch, of Bournemouth police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this incident and I have now obtained a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
